Goodness, I STILL remember this game, I enjoyed it so much. It wouldn’t be an exageration to say I enjoyed this game more than most games for a couple years.
Hey! Very creative approach to platformers with only two buttons, I’d never thought about that.
Keep working on it, it can even be a nice port to mobile. Those “on screen joysticks” are terrible, but if you manage to make your approach work with finger indexing it can be quite a nice approach.
At the moment i don't plan to work on that project again. It was really made in a rush, and the code is so terrible, that i would have a very hard time to extend it. (except levels... making levels is very easy)
I also noticed that the game is much to hard for the causal gamer (which is not my target audience), so most of the players can't beat the first level (tutorial). Then they give up. "stupid game! bad controls! too hard!"
But maybe there will be a follow-up in the future :)
